Combining CSS and Object-Oriented Scripting

• CSS has nice declarative model for style rules.
• Why not combine this with object-oriented scripting for controlling style and behaviour!
• Lots of people know CSS and JavaScript!
• More flexible and easier to learn than XSL or DSSSL
