Spice - Current Status

• HP has officially submitted Spice to W3C
• Being presented at WWW'7 developer's day
• Mounting interest in Spice as a follow on to CSS
• Hewlett Packard is implementing Spice as a thin browser to be released free with source code later this year
• Spice implementation as a standalone transformation engine for translating XML to HTML for publication.
• Standardization route via ECMA and W3C
