Conlusion
The combination of monitoring and claiming is a powerfull DRM
system itself.
With monitoring licensors
* can monitor the correct
license usage
* can exclusively market
their own content
* are not restricting
licensees and consumers by special content formats.
Classical DRM alone is not the whole answer to IPR in the
internet age. Monitoring is needed to reestablish the broken
link between work and owner. The working DRM always needs a
monitoring companion.
